PARK ELECTROCHEMICAL CORP. ANNOUNCES Appointments of Senior Technical Positions
Melville, New York, October 31, 2006….Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE-PKE) announced the appointments of Mr. Tom Miller as its Director of Analytical Laboratory in Tempe, Arizona and Mr. Ke Wang as the Technology Director of Nelco Products Pte. Ltd. in Singapore.
Mr. Miller will be responsible for the management of the analytical laboratory in the use of advanced characterization methods and instrumentation to ensure a high standard of measurement fidelity, data integrity and retrievability. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Miller was employed at Intel Corporation since October 1998, most recently as the Assembly Materials Characterization Lab Manager. Mr. Miller received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from The State University of New York and his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Arizona State University.
Mr. Wang, as Technology Director, will oversee all research and development and product development activity for Park in the Asia Pacific region and will provide a technical interface between the research and development functions in the United States and the research and development functions in Singapore. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Wang worked at the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering in Singapore since 2003. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Zhengzhou University in Zhengzhou, China, and a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Zhongshan University in Guangzhou, China.
Mr. Miller and Mr. Wang will report to Howard R. Elliott, Park’s Vice President of Research and Development, who is responsible for the leadership of the Company’s global research and development activities.
