PARK ELECTROCHEMICAL CORP. ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT CHANGES

Melville, New York April 14, 2009….. Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE – PKE) announced the appointment of Marty Kendrick as Vice President of Operations. In this new position, Ms. Kendrick will be responsible for the Park’s operations in Asia, Europe and North America with the exception of the Company’s Park Advanced Composite Materials, Inc. advanced composite materials operation located in Waterbury, Connecticut. Ms. Kendrick will continue to report to Brian Shore, Park’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, Marty was Vice President of North American Operations of Park with responsibility for Park’s Neltec, Inc., Nelco Products, Inc., Park Aircraft Technologies Corp. and Park Aerospace Structures Corp. subsidiaries. Marty originally joined Park in 1984.

The Company also announced the appointment of Tom Pursch as the President of the Company’s Park Aerospace Structures Corp. aircraft composite parts subsidiary in Lynnwood, Washington and the Company’s Park Aircraft Technologies Corp. aircraft composite materials and technologies subsidiary in Newton, Kansas. In these positions, Tom is responsible for the day-to-day operations of such subsidiaries and reports to Ms. Kendrick. Since joining the Company in October of 2008, Mr. Pursch was President of Park’s Nelco Products, Inc. electronics materials subsidiary located in Fullerton, California. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Pursch had been Vice President and General Manager of Amphenol Printed Circuits in Nashua, New Hampshire since 2005 and Vice President and General Manager of Teradyne, Inc. in Nashua since 2002. Prior to 2002, Mr. Pursch served in various management, manufacturing and engineering positions with Teradyne, Inc.

In addition, the Company announced the appointment of Jim Stewart as Vice President of Operations of the Company’s Nelco Products, Inc. subsidiary located in Fullerton, California. In this position, Jim is responsible for the day-to-day operations of such subsidiary and reports to Ms. Kendrick. Mr. Stewart has over thirty years of sales and management experience in the electronics industry. He held senior management positions at NCR Corporation and Diceon Electronics prior to joining Park Electrochemical Corp. in 1990. Mr. Stewart previously held sales management positions at Park’s Nelco Products, Inc. subsidiary and at Park before he was appointed to the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Park in 2000.

John Jongebloed will continue to serve as President of the Company’s Park Advanced Composite Materials, Inc. subsidiary located in Waterbury, Connecticut, and in such capacity John will continue to report directly to Brian Shore.
