Park Electrochemical Announces Appointment of Business Director Global RF/Microwave Materials

Lake Success, New York, June 16, 2003… Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE – PKE) announced that Mark Carlson has joined the company as Business Director Global RF/Microwave Materials. Mr. Carlson will be responsible for the global marketing and sales of RF/Microwave printed circuitry materials manufactured by Neltec, Inc and Neltec SA, Park’s high-technology circuitry material business units located in Tempe, Arizona and Lannemezan, France. Mr. Carlson will report to Jay Grover, President of Neltec, Inc.

Mr. Carlson has held sales and marketing management positions over the last twenty years for AlliedSignal Laminate Systems, Isola Laminating Systems, Arlon Materials and Keene Technologies. Prior to joining Neltec, Mark served as the Eastern Regional Account Manager at Isola Laminating Systems. Mark received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance from the University of Delaware.
