PARK ELECTROCHEMICAL ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF JIM STEWART AS VICE PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

MELVILLE, New York, May 25, 2005….Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE – PKE) announced the appointment of Jim Stewart to the newly created position of Vice President of Business Development.

Mr. Stewart has over thirty years of management experience in manufacturing operations and sales in the printed circuit board and materials industries. He held senior management positions at NCR Corporation and Diceon Electronics prior to joining Park Electrochemical Corp in 1990. Mr. Stewart previously held sales management positions at Park’s Nelco Products, Inc. business unit and at Park before he was appointed to the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2000. Mr. Stewart received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Oklahoma State University in 1966.

In Jim’s new position, he will report to Steve Schaefer, Park’s Senior Vice President, Marketing and will focus his efforts on new business development opportunities, including possible acquisitions.
