Park Electrochemical Announces Promotion of Fred Hickman to Vice President of OEM Marketing and Technology

LAKE SUCCESS, New York, June 26, 2001….Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE – PKE) announced the promotion of Fred Hickman III to Vice President of OEM Marketing and Technology. Mr. Hickman’s new responsibility will involve an expanded role in OEM Marketing on a global basis for Park Electrochemical. Mr. Hickman will continue to report to Bob Forcier, Senior Vice President, OEM Marketing and Technology, of Park, and President of Neltec, Inc., Park’s business in Tempe, Arizona that specializes in high performance and low loss materials for next generation electronic systems.

Mr. Hickman joined Park in 1991 as the Engineering Manager of Nelco Technology, Inc. and has served in a variety of capacities since that time, including Director of Technology at Neltec. Prior to 1991, Mr. Hickman held various engineering positions at Digital Equipment Corporation, Hadco Corporation and Westinghouse Corporation. Mr. Hickman has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina.
