Park Electrochemical Announces the Release of N4000-12 Enhanced Epoxy Materials System

Lake Success, New York, February 9, 2004… Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE – PKE) announced the introduction of its new N4000-12 enhanced epoxy dielectric substrate materials. This new product line is now available globally with manufacturing at Park’s Neltec, Inc. business unit in Tempe, Arizona and at its Nelco Products Pte, Ltd. business unit in Singapore.

The N4000-12 series of laminate and prepreg materials are being introduced to support high speed digital and RF applications in the 1+ GHz range. The high Tg and robust thermal stability of N4000-12 make it an outstanding choice for lead-free assembly environments. N4000-12 offers low z-axis expansion and excellent electrical properties without sacrificing compatibility with conventional high Tg fabrication processes. This material set has achieved UL 94 V-0 designation and is applicable in fine line multilayers, network storage, wireless communications and a variety of chip scale packaging applications.
