PARK ELECTROCHEMICAL CORP. ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF JOHN JONGEBLOED AS PRESIDENT OF NELCOTE, INC.

Melville, New York, May 14, 2007….Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE – PKE) announced the appointment of John Jongebloed as President of its Nelcote, Inc. subsidiary located in Waterbury, Connecticut. Mr. Jongebloed will continue to be President of Park’s New England Laminates Co., Inc. subsidiary in Newburgh, New York and will continue to report to Brian E. Shore, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Park.

Mr. Jongebloed has been employed by Park Electrochemical Corp and its subsidiaries in various positions since June 1, 1989, and he has been President of New England Laminates Co., Inc. since May 1999.

Brian Shore, Park’s President and CEO, said, “I am pleased that John Jongebloed has taken on the responsibility for our Nelcote, Inc. operation in Waterbury, Connecticut. John understands very well Park’s expectations regarding operational disciplines and execution standards at its facilities. This is a good thing for Park.”
