PARK ELECTROCHEMICAL CORP. ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF LAWRENCE G. KUNTZ AS SALES DIRECTOR

Melville, New York, December 9, 2008….Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE – PKE) announced the appointment of Lawrence G. Kuntz as Sales Director of the Company. Mr. Kuntz will focus on the sales and marketing of Park’s Nelcote® and Nova™ advanced composite materials product lines for industrial, wind energy and other applications which complement Park’s current aerospace focus. Mr. Kuntz will report to Tony DiGaudio, Park’s Vice President of Marketing and Sales.

Mr. Kuntz joins Park with many years experience in various management and sales and marketing positions. Most recently, he was a product development consultant for Adhesive Product Development in South Hadley, Massachusetts. From 1985 to 2007, he was President of Dielectric Polymers, Inc. in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Dielectric Polymers, Inc. was a wholly owned subsidiary of Park Electrochemical Corp. from 1970 to June 2002. Mr. Kuntz held various marketing and sales positions with Chicago Extruded Metals Co. and Monsanto Company from 1977 to 1983. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from St. Louis University.
