PARK ELECTROCHEMICAL CORP. ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF LOUIS J. STANS AS VICE PRESIDENT OF QUALITY
Melville, New York, October 20, 2005….Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE-PKE) announced the appointment of Louis J. Stans as Vice President of Quality of the company in addition to his current position as Vice President of Engineering.
Mr. Stans joined Park as Vice President of Engineering in December 2004. Prior to joining Park, Mr. Stans held senior engineering and technology positions at Photocircuits Corporation, Dayton T. Brown, Inc. and Grumman Aerospace Corporation. Since 1990, he had been Director of Technology and Engineering at Photocircuits Corporation, a major printed circuit board manufacturer. From 1986 to 1990 he was a product manager for Photocircuits Corporation. He served in several engineering positions from 1972 to 1986 with Dayton T. Brown, Inc., a precision sheet metal manufacturer, and he was a mechanical engineer responsible for experimental stress analysis of aircraft and space vehicle structures for Grumman Aerospace Corporation from 1970 to 1972. Mr. Stans received a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering science from Hofstra University in 1970 and a Master of Science degree in industrial management from State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1981.
