Park Electrochemical Corp. Announces Appointment of Product Director, High Volume Products

Lake Success, NY, January 15, 2001… Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE-PKE) announced that Steven Schaefer has joined the company as Product Director, High Volume Products effective January 15, 2001. Mr. Schaefer will be responsible for management of the company’s current high volume products and its new products targeted for high volume applications from research and development project criteria identification through product commercialization. Mr. Schaefer will report to Chris Johnson, the company’s Senior Vice President, Corporate Development.

Mr. Schaefer has over seventeen years of sales, product management and technical experience. Most recently, he served as Director of Sales and Marketing for OMG Fidelity in Newark, New Jersey. Previously he was employed by LeaRonal, Inc. in various positions including National Sales Manager. Mr. Schaefer received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the State University of New York in 1983.
