PARK ELECTROCHEMICAL CORP. ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF VICE PRESIDENT OF GLOBAL SUPPLIER RELATIONS

Melville, New York, August 19, 2005….. Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE-PKE) announced the appointment of Margaret (“Marty”) M. Kendrick as Vice President of Global Supplier Relations of the Company. Marty Kendrick currently serves as President of the Company’s Nelco Products, Inc. circuitry material business located in Fullerton, California (“Nelco California”), and Marty Kendrick will continue to serve in that capacity as well. John Jongebloed, who had been responsible for the Company’s global procurement function, will continue to serve as President of the Company’s New England Laminates Co., Inc. circuitry material business located in Newburgh, New York (“Nelco New York”). Marty Kendrick was elected to the position of President of Nelco California in January, 2004. Immediately prior thereto, she served as Vice President of Global Materials for the Company. Marty originally joined the Company in 1984.
