Park Electrochemical Corp. Announces Election of Ronald F. Ostrow as New Director

LAKE SUCCESS, New York, July 18, 2000…The Board of Directors of Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE-PKE) announced the election of Ronald F. Ostrow as a Director of the company. Mr. Ostrow was elected at the annual meeting of shareholders on July 12, 2000.

Mr. Ostrow currently serves as President and CEO of Troist Associates, LLC, a consulting firm. Mr. Ostrow was the President and CEO of LeaRonal, Inc. until January of 1999, when the company was sold to Rohm and Haas Company. Prior to the sale, LeaRonal was a public company specializing in the development, manufacturing and sale of specialty chemicals for the electronics and metal finishing industries.
