PARK ELECTROCHEMICAL CORP. ANNOUNCES ELECTION OF STEPHEN M. BANKER AS VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL COUNSEL

Melville, New York, Tuesday, November 1, 2011……Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE – PKE) announced the election of Stephen M. Banker as Vice President and General Counsel of the Company. Mr. Banker will report to Brian Shore, Park’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Banker will succeed Stephen E. Gilhuley as General Counsel, and Mr. Gilhuley will continue as Executive Vice President and Secretary of the Company and will continue to report to Mr. Shore.

Mr. Banker had been a lawyer in the Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom law firm in New York City since 1977 and a senior partner in the firm for many years. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
