PARK ELECTROCHEMICAL CORP. ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF ITS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, MARKETING AND OTHER CHANGES IN OFFICER POSITIONS

Melville, New York, August 15, 2005…Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE-PKE) announced the resignation of Steven P. Schaefer as Senior Vice President, Marketing of the Company, effective August 26, 2005. Mr. Schaefer is resigning to accept a position with a privately owned company in a different industry. Park also announced that Albert J. Mastrangelo, who currently serves as the Company’s Vice President of Technical Marketing, has been appointed to the new position of Vice President of Marketing for the Company. In this capacity, Mr. Mastrangelo will supervise the Company’s product management function, in addition to its business development, technical marketing and marketing communication functions. Park further announced that Anthony W. DiGaudio, the Company’s Vice President of Sales, will lead the Company’s research and development function until the Company completes its ongoing recruitment for a leader of its technology function.
