Park/Nelco and EIS, Inc. – Circuit Supply Division Announce Distributor Agreement

Lake Success, NY, January 2, 2001… Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE-PKE) announced the execution of a major U.S. Distributor Agreement with EIS, Inc. – Circuit Supply Division, a distributor of materials to the printed circuit board manufacturing industry. Under this agreement, Park/Nelco has assigned EIS, Inc. as a significant distributor of Park/Nelco’s multilayer materials and advanced products in the United States. Under this agreement, EIS will sell, distribute and warehouse products manufactured by Park/Nelco’s U.S. business units in certain regions of the United States, effective January 1, 2001.

The distributor agreement with EIS will provide increased material availability and value added services to many areas of the United States and complements the upcoming completion of the expansion projects of Park/Nelco’s advanced electronic material facilities in New York; California; and Arizona. When completed in 2001, the Park/Nelco expansions are expected to significantly increase the manufacturing capacity of these three facilities and support this substantial EIS, Inc. agreement through improved product availability and value added services.

EIS, Inc. has forty-four warehouses in North America at strategic locations with twelve of these warehouse locations dedicated to stocking and distributing printed circuit board materials. EIS also has six value-added facilities, which are equipped to meet customer specific fabrication, tooling and packaging requirements for copper clad laminates and prepreg. In addition to laminate and prepreg, EIS has distribution agreements with a strong base of “world class” manufacturers that supply materials and equipment to the printed circuit board manufacturing industry. Supporting this activity, EIS employs twenty-one technical sales professionals dedicated to servicing PCB manufacturers.
